Ok, 1st post on here! Had a few questions. I just got my M10 and my Floats are on there way. My big question is for those of you who have done the 2" conversion. Everyone I ask says I can only go a max of 1.25" lug on my Viper so how are you getting these tracks in yours and what needs done? Right now my Viper is sitting on my lift in the garage with no suspension at all under it! The stock suspension is 4 sale on ebay if theres anyone interested!

Ive read that on a viper u have to change your driver from 9 tooth to 8 to put studs on. So that would make sense for a bigger paddle track to me. Not sure though.

stock 02 Viper I ran a 1-1/2 (heard upto a 1-3/4) with stk 9 tooth drivers
need 8 tooth to go bigger, also had to add the drop brackets for tunnel clearance
..SNAKEBIT..

thanks!

Thanks for the much needed info! I have a stock 121 on mine nowwith 260 some studs in it! I don't know, buy on a groomed trail even with the track tight, 9 tooth anti ratchet drives it still jumps! I am looking to go with a 136 deeper lug track to head to Maine. I am guessing not to go more than 1.25 lug height sincce most of my milage is groomed. I was asking because noone could give me an answer as to what lug height I could get away with without having any problems.

Can you run studs with the 1 1/2" track on a stock Viper? I am looking to replace my track and want to go as big as possible with stock drivers (02' Viper).

1.75 inch can be done cuz I have B2SO's setup he used to do it and I am in the process of putting it in my Viper now. Tunnel and front heat exchanger protectors must be removed for anything over 1.25 inch height lug.

From what I understand, studs are for 1.25 inch lug or less or you will ruin the tunnel.

Looks like a bear was clawing at my front exchanger! And mine is stock height with A LOT of studs. Even with the protectors on it is still chewed up. I guess when (if) I can get mt drives to stop jumping this will help considerabaly.
