Last night I installed a reverse kit on my 04 SX Viper. I followed direstions from the TY tech section and everything went on perfectly! However, when I hauled the sled out of my garage the track would not move either forward or backwards. Also, the shifter will not engage reverse. Basically the unit inside the cahincase will not move.
I also tried completely backing off the tension on the chain
Can anybody help me??
Thanks

Make sure the the black arms are connected to the grove in the outer gear. If I where you.... I would take the chain and gears back off and reinstall them making sure everything is seated properly. If the black arms are in the grove then you have something not seated correctly.

Both arms are seated perfectly on the outside reverse drive gear. Everything is lined up perfectly. I might take it apart again piece by piece until the track will move freely. However I still cannot understand what would restrict the movement.
I took my time whin rebuilding the chain case to make sure everything was properly seated, I guess everything went too smoothly

Just thought I'd upate what the problem was for anyone who experiences this in the future.....
I had everything put together correctly except for the collar on the bottom sprocket (which is the very first first part to put on in the assembly)
I had it in backwards. So, I turned it around, reassembled everything, and perfection!
