Anyone know where a guy can find a used Viper motor. Just took out the middle crank bearing. Dealer says $1,800 to fix, $2,800 for new motor. What's a guy to do?

How bad is it? Would it be fixed with replacing the crank or is there more damage? How is the rest of the motor
