Exciter secondary clutching

Will 83 ss 440 secondary work with 88 Exciter?

They look nearly the same. Any help appreciated..

If you can mount it, test it!

iam not sure make sure the splines fit good and use the exciters spring and helix compare diamaters

I have tried an polaris 340 primary and an Enticer 340 primary on an Enticer 250 .. Both fitted on the engine, but it have wrong gearing, so you have to test it to see if it work...
