I currently own a 02 viper that has hauck performance venom kit on it. They claim 150hp with this kit and honestly it might have it. Now, my question is if i upgrade to a apex, how would it compare with both sleds claiming 150hp? I know the 4s's are tourqe monsters and you cant really go wrong with FI. Stupid question?...maybe, but im just curious. Need some input befor i lay down alot of green for a new or newer sled. THANKS

i would never go back to 2 stroke.the 4 stroke power,ride,no hassle riding is great.
the apex is awsome! smooth ride and power is great! have had 5 srxes and they are fast! i raced i piped viper with one of my srxes and beat him, but my srx cant touch my apex!

well then my question is since the apex has only been out for a few years is there a certain year to look for? is one year prone to more problems vs. newer years?

the apex first came out in 06.. before it was rx1..
i have a 06 and have testet the o7, there are small changes, i think the fuel pump and gearing (rtx).. very little else, exept for graphics and windshield.. go for the one you think look the best and have good price!
