My buddy has the stock clutch springs etc. from a 2001 SRX. He put a clutch kit in when he bought the SRX new and since sold the sled. He asked me if i wanted the orig parts to put in my SX, but I'm not sure if the springs etc. will work on my SX.

the clutch parts from the srx witll fit in an sxr. It really depends on what he has for parts. The 2001 SRX I believe have the 8DN20 weights which are great weights. You just cant throw all the srx clutch parts in your and think it will be better.

SRX and SXR ARE the same clutch, just like all late model yamahas have. It's the components in side that are different from model to model (spring colors, weights, helix's etc...)
says he has the weights, springs, helix, and some other parts
my 700 has 6000 miles on it, I bought it with about 4800 miles, and I'll willing to be the entire clutch is all orig and has never been rebuilt
the clutch parts I can get have 100 miles on them so they're basically new, I was considering swaping the old parts with the new
with 6000 miles what should I be replacing in the primary and secondary?
