oil pump bleeding??????

Fresh rebuild off an srx. Took motor out of sled. Now that everything is properly installed. Do i need to bleed oil pump or letting it idle it will bleed itself. I just want to make sure no mistakes are made.

Yes, daman is right, however that only bleedes it to the oil pump. You still need to get it to the fuel pump. Do as he says then start it up and as it is idling pull the oiler line apart where the adjustor is when the sled is idling. This will give it max oil quick and get it flowing through the fuel pump & mixing w/ the gas right away.

Daman, how do you do that, come up with the same answer before me...seriously I need to ask you how do you post pics with a detail description & arrows???all trails closed up here & most border Quebec so I might as well try & help someone on here, but I'm not as visual as you...cheers...

He is just that damn good.He draws all them diagrams by hand yet..he is fast and accurate.He does it off memory and has fast typing fingers.LOL.Keep up the good work there daman. BM....

daman did you ever finish your bathroom renovation.Did you get a chance to pop the lid of the paint can yet.My next project is the main bathroom to.New toilet,cabinet,sink,paint job and counters.Should have it all done in one weekend.
My SRX wants to go for a fast run,but no where really to do that right now.Crappy winter so far here,same for you I assume.
 
it's still a work in progress, can't get the the heat contractors over
to run two heat runs, a return and supply, no one want's to work on
the smaller jobs,have to do it my self i guess..
 
My stepson is heading back to Wisconsin tomorrow back to school there.I will hide in his car till I get there and then hitchhike my way to Michigan to help you out there.

Just noticed it is snowing out a little daman.I`ll have some extra cushion when I ride my SRX tommorrow.Gonna be around -13 C.,good for some speed runs and check out my clutching set up.
