Posting pics

Gee, I didn't think that I was blind or stupid, but I can't seem to find my way to paste some pics to a post? I'm feeling a little foolish as I'm guessing this isn't the first time you've dealt with this question, and the info's gotta be here someplace?

I have clicked the 'insert image' and have even copied and pasted into that box, but no image shows up?

I click the go advanced button and then click the manage attachments button then a separate screen pops up to upload pics.
