Viper water pump leak

The water pump on my 2002 Viper (2000 mi.) has started leaking  . What would be a reasonable cost (or how many hours)for seal replacement? I was told the cases may have to be split to get at all the seals. That seams pretty drastic for seals. I wouldn't mind spending a couple hundred, but 5 or 6 hundred would be stretching it for a $3000 sled.

Thanks
Mike

I tired to do this by myself and it leaked worse then when I started, delaer charged me $170 to replace every seal in there. First trip it still leaked, they replaced everything again at no charge, and they got it the 2nd time. Trickly little seal to replace.

We had to fix the one on one of our new Vipers already. You have to pull the motor to get at it they told us. Was only like $180 though.

When replacing the seal also replace the washer behind the bolt that holds the impeller on, it has a rubber seal on it tends to leak when you reuse it causing the coolant to come out the weep hole.

I Have Replaced The Mechanical Seal On 2 Sleds Both Leaked Worse Then Before But After Running It Up To Temp Letting In Cool Down And Repeating It Will Seat Itself And Your Good To Go! Dont Panic Its More Time Consuming Then Anything! Good Luck

My 700MM leaked a little after I replaced the seal etc. . Now it has not for a full season, my fingers are crossed. Soc
