I have a SRV that has a stock Yamaha/comet clutch. I checked Yamaha and that bolt is available for $11. I pulled the bolt out of the SRV to check fit and it is about an inch to short. I keep running into dead ends. I just need to sort this out.

phazer 108exp bolt

I have a phazer with a 108exp on it . The bolt on it came with the clutch from RPC . I will take it off tommorow and measure it and post the size for you then .

Hey, Thanks a bunch. I just have to convert that to metric, No big problem. Then go back to the parts store and order one. COOL. I'll let you know how that works out.

Yeah, I screwed up. I don't know where I got the 14mm, it is 1/2 20. The regular 108exp bolt fits perfectly. It works great but, it is still engaging at 3000 rpm. Now I just need to find the right tune for it.

Yeah, I've got that in my favorites. I've also got Olav Aaens clutch book. What comet gives you is just a recomendation for stock. If your sled is modified at all it throws that recomendation out the window. It is close with the A-1 arms and the purple spring but, engagement is still to low.

Yeah, The new EXP I got for my V-max is a little off. Comet sells primary spring shims that raise engagement speed by 100 rpms each. They say you can use up to three. They also increase top end rpms by the same amount. I'm gonna pull my spring next week and see if I can find the right size washers to try. I also may give them a call and see what spring would work to raise my engagement speed.

Hey, I didn't see that. Thanks.
Only problem is that is says the purple spring that I have should be engaging at 3800 rpm and it is engaging closer to 3000. Regardless of whether my tach is wrong, my engagement is to low. I will try a Gold spring but, I don't have one right now. I need one for my set whether I use it for this sled or not.

Oh, I notched a set of 8vos for the stock clutch. That was horrible. almost undriveable.
Clutching is on hold. I had a meltdown. I can't seem to find why. The carb on the melted cylinder was full of fuel and the main jet was not plugged. I'm still looking but, everything seems fine. Fan side.
