I bought a 03 viper n the previous owner put a 136 1.25" ripsaw on it and the front heat exchanger proctors are still on i was wondering if i should take them off there is about a finger space between them n the track.

i don't know how you have any space between the lugs and protectors...period. i had to take the front heat exchanger protectors off completely. the stock low lug heighted track was rubbing on the protectors! so, when the ripsaw went on, protectors came off. tunnel and heat exchanger that is.

Ic the previous owner had a studded track but it fell apart and thats when he put the 136 1.25" ripsaw on it then i bought the sled but there are no studs in it and i dont plan on studding ill have to check the drivers not sure what tooth they are i got clearance but not much and it looks like the proctors are tack welded to the heat ex
