I understand that the Vipers trailingarms is about 1" higher because of the saddleless skis and I also think I´ve seen somewhere that the caster angle is different (dunno if it makes any difference in riding?)

I also now that I need the Viper steering spindle.

My biggest question is; Do the trailingarms fit to my original control arms?
If not, why?

Now I have looked at some ads on snowmobiles and it looks like the Viper has the "uniball side" of the control arm attached to the trailingarm, is that right that it´s turned over against the SRX/SXr?

trailing arms will fit right on, have more caster, you will need arm, spindle and spindle crank arm or 01venture/vmax spindles that will accept your crank arms.

Just did it to my 98 srx. Went together with no problems.

Sounds great!
Do you feel any difference because of the more caster? Will it be more "slow" in the turns?
