2500 hundred miles on my Viper. The original slides are still good! Stock suspension, no extra or larger wheels.
I went to change them before my trip and they are no where near the 10 mm minimum. It was closer to an open end 13 mm wrench at the thinnest spot by the curve in the rail.
I have ridden some rough stuff with these. Low snow, pellet snow, melted and iced over lakes. gravel, plowed fields, you name it.
As a reminder- DO NOT change pro-action slides after a few hundred miles. Get them hot and quickly cooled and they will wear to a certain point and stop.
After checking the sled over and ready to wrench on something I was very disappointed. There was nothing to do. I am sorry to say after looking at all the new iron I am still happy with the old girl.

Nothing is wrong... that's Yamaha reliability! ![Smile :) :)](https://totallyamaha.net/images/smilies/smile.png)
Glad to hear that. I haven't checked my slides on my 03. I have 1600 miles now.
Instead of wrenching... maybe polish something up!
