Well finally found the time to take the 03 Viper out for a good run.

Being used to the triple piped 01 SXR600, I was eager to see how the Viper performed.

WOW!!!! Does she haul.

With the snow conditions being so poor I didn't really attempt any WOT runs, but I still managed to see 96 MPH on GPS!!! Can't imagine what she'll do all wound up!!!

Clutching might need a lttle tweaking ( a little low RPM off the line) but she jumps up to 8500-8600m RPM very quickly.

The old ProAction actually performed pretty well inspite of the conditions and I'm wondering if the suspension has been revalved already. Anyone on here trade their 03 Viper in to Heinen's in Minneapolis (with about 1400 miles on it)?? I'd love to hear the history of the sled.

Well just to repeat: WOW!!!!

ya ya ya!!!Now go try that with an SRX,you'll crap your pants....lol.Not to mention stretch the old arms a bit.I can't even do wide open runs out my way unless I want to end up dead somewhere.Just to rough, got to concentrate on the next bump coming up on me at 100mph.Or a rock or frozen piece of mud,a straw bail or a couple of them Caterpillars sitting along the floodway or a colvert.Snow ain't covering anything up,deadly situation.Had the SRX pinned along the floodway a few weeks back on a good straightaway and I hear a clunk sound.I turns around and went over a rock that was flater then rounder right between the ski's under the skid plate and I ended up rolling the rock, but no damage on sled.I look around and there are tons of rocks just barely covered with snow sticking out everywhere. This is due to the floodway re-construction they have been doing. The floodway is not a good place to hang around this year.Haven't been on the RED River yet,but some guys I meet told me it is very rough to for riding.Looks like there won't be to many miles put on this season.Since last weekend I only put on 18 km's of crappy riding,no fun at all.#$%&*

Well ya never know, I might just triple pipe this beast and give you a run for the money!!!! :>) ALthough I have to tell you it is already an arm stretcher!!
