Exciter II SX Crank Seals. replacing.

I am wondering do i need to split the case to change the seals or can i pry out the old ones and seat the new ones in?

i would split the case due to the lip on seal would probably get damage trying to put it back in

You need to split the case,do it right,you can't pry it out then in,won't
work.

before putting new seal in apply grease onto the seal lip to help
with dry start up when you first start it.
