tweakin my 300

I have a 1979 ET250 and put a 300 in it. I kill my buddies 340 til about half track, then he whips by. Any one have some tweakin tips so I can hopefully stay ahead of him? We built a drag strip and we race about 660 ft. I will have some video and pics soon of us racing. Looks pretty good off the line, both sleds in the air.
