I thought I read somewhere that the spacers make the steering column rub on the center carb is that right. I thought about the notch but a little afraid of screwing up the stoppers. Not sure how accurate the cut has to be or how easy they cut. Can anyone who has done either let me know?

Same here but I've read that on some machines they do rub. Not sure what machine(s) though.

That is when you install a boost bottle ,the float bowl of the carb in the center may hit the steering shaft ,due to the intake boots are not offset on the bottle kit and reed spacers move the carbs back some, so if you have a bottle and spacers you have to shim the engine at the mounts .Look in the tech section under install a boost bottle. You will se it there.fasteddie said:I thought I read somewhere that the spacers make the steering column rub on the center carb is that right.
