My wife and I had a great trip to Bayfield county on Sunday and Monday. Sunday trails were groomed very nice, had a good hard base. Then on Monday we got treated to a little gift from the winds off the Gitche Gumee. This is a nice area to ride. If you are looking for a really nice cabin to rent check out Woodside Cottages in Bayfield. You have to trailer to the trail, but the cottages are awesome especially if you want to take your significant other and the owners are very snowmobile friendly and sledders themselves.

Just kidding, you are right..one of the best kept secrets for sure! Not alot of crazy's........nice play area's along the way. Also like the Solon spring to Brule area also...... Look's like it was a GREAT time!
