V force reeds

none they suck i think.. sorry to say that but the reeds crack easy and i dont see any power gain. If i was you i woul just boysien reed w/e how u spell..

best bet is to buy the carbon tech carbon fiber reed petals for $120 approx, and bolt them to your stock cast aluminum cage. don't spend the dollars for a delta set....no gain.

Yea any carbon tech reeds! Your gonna spend 350 for no gain. Its ok to spend 700$ for pipes becaues it a huge gain!!

Glad I read this post ! When I raced motocross I loved the carbontech's I've been watching them on ebay for awihle. I know theres an issue with the original vforce with the screws coming loose and getting sucked into the engine if your still considering it. Also teres a set of Boyesen reeds on ebay buy it now for $102 if your going that route auction # 320106385143

I tried vforce on my 700sx, flooded out at low speeds and there was no power gain, installed reed spacers, no flood, just power, I sold vforce about a month ago.

Saying that V-Force don't work is not completely true....they just gain much efficiency over the stock reeds on lower hp motors. They do build 1-2 hp on the stock or ported motors, but wasting $350 on that is fairly rediculous. They also aren't nearly as strong as the stock reeds, and I always had chipping issues with the Delta 3's. The stock reeds are more than sufficient on lower hp motors......up to 165-170ish hp. Then the V-Force start to work.

My advice....don't waste the money on V-Force on a stock or ported sled, even on a 780 big bore. Any larger than that, buy them. The stock reeds will flutter and you will lose hp.

I Have A Set Of Used Low Tension Carbon Tech Reeds. I Ran Them In My 2000 Sxr 700 And They Worked Great. They Are Mounted On The Stock Reed Cages. I Will Sell You The Cages, the Carbon Tech Reeds And The Stock Reeds For A Reasonable Price. I Don't Need Them Any More Since I Had My Case And Intake Ported For Larger Reed Cages . Pm Me If You Are Interested.

i have tested stock, carbon tech & vforce1 & 2's @ dynotech. this was on stock w/ pipes motors & ported motors w/ pipes. the carbon tech were usually +1-2 hp & the v-force +2-4 hp depending on the motor. never saw a loss. what i also have found is efficiency. bsfc went up w/ the carbon tech & v-force... meaning you could usually drop down 1 jet size.
