King Of Bling

I recently purchased a used 2001 Yamaha SX700R.
- For left and right ski spring seat length the recommendation is 137 mm to 117 mm.
- For the rear suspension (front) shock absorber spring seat length the recommendation is 96.8 mm to 76.8 mm.
- For the rear suspension (rear) shock absorber spring seat length the recommendation is 80.3. mm to 60.3 mm.
Can you recommend a good starting point where I can set the suspension for a 300 lb rider? Mostly trail riding, very little ditch banging if any.

You need to set the rear suspension up so that the gaps on the control rods are equal (roughly) top and bottom while seated on the sled at riding weight. You do this by increasing/decreasing the preloads and FRA adjuster.
