2009's

some guys on snowest are disappointed with the new nytros. they say they need more track and trech really bad.

No rumours, but I keep hoping that they resurrect the SRX in some form or another. Looks like Yamaha will be introducing the SRX's dry track soul mate for '09 though.

An "Insider" told me the SRX is being re-released with the Apex 150 motor. And the Viper will get the Vector 120 engine and mono shock skid. We've got to keep it on the dl though.

if that is true,I wander what the SRX would look like..same as Apex.Basically they will take the Apex sled and put SRX stickers on it.Ah,they have to do something totally radical with the SRX then. They should come out with a Turbo for the SRX then from factory. All the bells and whistles.Remote start, cruise control, sound system with CD player, all light weight parts and a rocket!!!!!! for a sled that no one else could touch.Imagine price tag would be high, and just having a pic of it would be cool.I'll stick to my 02 SRX,it is a legend.

I agree...if yammie does bring back the SRX they need to do somthing radical to make it live up to the name, and more HP is one of them,150 is not enough anymore!!!!!! pull the stops out....make this motha screem!!!! lol

if the SRX does reappear, if it will use the apex motor, it better be turbo'd or supercharged. Maybe they will use the fjr 1300 block, or som other bigger than 1000cc mill.

i highly doubt that we will ever see a two stroke from Yamaha again in any of there line ups. :4STroke:

but i hope they do come out with the SRX name again i

Dunno,,,but yammie needs to step up the HP for sure..

i think they need the hp and the weight factor. skidoo is always weighing their junk right beside an apex. if they coul;d get the the apex or what ever they come out with 35-50 pounds lighter i think it would make a big difference in peoples opinions on buying one.
