I finished putting 2.5" drop brackets on my viper tonight. The suspension works good, no binding. I have the center bolt down 1.25" and exactly the same distance from the front bolt as the stock center hole, and the rear holes are also the exact same distance as stock. Like I said no binding issues. But now I happen to look at the track a little since I have it raised up, and I realize I have 2" of gap to the hyfax with 20 lbs of down force. I never checked it before tonight but I'm guessing it was the same way stock before the drop brackets. I have stock drivers and a 121" 1.5 track that has polaris emblems on it so I'm guessing from a polaris lol...but anyway is that too loose? I never noticed any ratcheting last year. Other than ratcheting, what else can go wrong with too loose of a track? I'm thinking 2" isn't enough to worry about any derailment issues, but I don't have too much experience in this area lol. What do you guys think?

I didnt have a issue with my 1-1/2 track with stock drivers, but
I ran my sled with the new track and 8 tooth extroverts today and heard ratcheting a couple of times my track had about 1 to 1-1/2 gap hanging free (before the ride never had a chance to check it when I got back) going to check & tighten a little tomorrrow.
