Was wondering to all those out there who are running hh's what your set-up is on your piped vipers. Im running bender triples in my 136" viper. Its the 48 gram set on the hh's. Ive got a g-w-g primary and a green secondary spring with a 48/42 helix. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I also have a red secondary- would that work better? Mainly lake ride and trails. Thanks again

Hey ViperInABlueDress, I'm not trying to hyjack your thread or anything, but i would like to post my question here as well, seeing as you and I have the same question.

My question is what should I start out with for a heavy hitter setup? Here's my current sled setup: '02 aaen piped viper, w/hauck orange primary spring w/1 engagement shim, hauck green secondary spring @ 60 deg, hauck "v" helix which I believe is a 51/47, and stock rollers. What should I be looking at for a start for the h/h's? ViperInABlueDress and I have a similar setup, so I would think that a setup given should be a good ballpark for the 2 of us.

Here is what I ran when I had the CPR pipes on: (48gm. base)
* Nothing in the heel hole (empty)
*3/8 steel bolt w/ thick steel washer in MID hole
* TIP hole empty
SILVER sec. spring @ 70deg. (6-1)
I used the HH black primary spring and stock helix. (stock rollers)
Keep in mind this is for about 9100 rpm. The Bender pipes run lower around 8500. The Red sec. spring is way too soft for pipes. You will need the Silver spring. Multi helixes don't work good for trails with the HH's..........maybe drag racing where you don't need the backshift.
