I am trying to fine tune my 01 srx with heavy hitters, from a dead stop it engages around 4800 and pins around 8500. My problem is that in mid range around 50-60 mph or when my track grabs and stops spinning, it bogs to 7000 then slowly creeps back to 8500. Should I add more weight to the middle hole? Thanks.

i would say remove.

So do I remove from the center and add to the tip to keep my max rpm at 8500. How much does the heel weight (hex screw) affect peak rpm?

Are you sure its not up shifting too fast? You might want to try wraping the secondary a little more.

If you need to raise rpm remove waight from the tip. It does sound like you need to wrap the secondary tighter as suggested. There is a lot of information in the tech section.

The sled had a silver spring wrapped at 70, I replaced it with a yamaha green at 70. It does feel like it's upshiffting too quick, loads great out of the hole then in mid range I can feel it shift, I gain a ton of speed real quick and then it bogs to 7000 and slowly climbs back. My Yammy shop chart didn't list a silver secondary, I just went to a green because I have had good luck with them before. Should I wrap the green at 80 deg and try it?

I'm pretty sure the silver is stiffer then the green. If you have it wrapped that much I think the cluctch starts to get inefficient. You might need to play with helix angle. What are you running? I have HH in my sled btw.
