I think there's no doubt the four strokes are more fuel efficient, and perhaps more durable and reliable. If you follow that logic, I suppose if you really wanted to you could make a sled diesel powered as well. But pound for pound, I don't see you getting the same power and acceleration out of a four stroke, all other things being equal, as you do out of a two stroke. There's something to be said for getting a power stroke every revolution, as opposed to every two. My opinion only...

Yes , I am a 2 stroke guy both for dirt bikes and now my re kindled love affair with sleds ! One day though 4-strokes will be all that is around ! Sic !
