My Dad Owns A 95 Vmax 4 800 He Bought New In 1995 And Only Has 60 Miles...yes You Read That Right. It Is New Condition And 100 % Stock And Original. Any Ideas What This Sled Is Worth? Is There Any Collector Value Yet On These Sleds?

I can only give you my personal opinion in that I would not sell that sled. I do believe that sled is one of Yamaha's ground breaking technological achievements. It is true that todays machine are superior in ride quality, reliability, maybe even performance but, in it's day it was something that was never done before. If there will be a collectors market in the future , this will definatley be a desirable machine to have! It is probably worth about $4000 to the right buyer now but I would not let it go for that money. Hold on to it and enjoy the pride of owning such a unique piece of history!

If i were you i'd sell that old overweight tank to me for 500.00.LOL

Joking aside,it might be worth some good money to a collector.

A 92 (first year) or 97 (last year) might have collector value, but I think a 95 with those miles is more a "novelity." Ride that sled! Put a better rear suspension in it and have fun!

I disagree. The 95 was the first year of the 800! More people are interested in the 800 than the 750. In my opinion the 97 is the rarest due to the limited build and the 95 is second due to the first year of the 800 and BLACK!! $4000-$5000.
