Do any of you guys use any type of sealer on the flanges for aftermarket pipes? I just saw an article about installing Bender pipes in a Viper and they said to use Yamabond 6B on all connections. I've never used anything with mine so I'm just wondering if I should. I have the things off constantly so I really don't want to screw with it if it's not needed.

If you find something that works let me know. My SLP pipes leak at the flanges.
I use the orange automotive type exhaust sealer "Hi Heat" copper base

Use RTV ultra copper. It is good for maximum temps and has been working fine on my flanges for years. Also holds specs from the automotive industry. Great stuff !!!

all these guys are right on the money , the only thing to add is you need to clean off all the black sooty residue before using the sealer, use laq. thinner or something, brake clean etc. dry it off and apply a nice bead of it, install pipes. Let itcompletely dry before you start up the sled, overnight is the best, it holds up pretty well.
You can also put a small bead of it length wise on the springs, it will keep them alive longer, it cancels out the harmonics(vibrations) which will break the springs over time.
