I thought I would share some pics of small project I have been working on.
This is a 1989 Yamaha SnoSPort sv125, 125cc two stroke, alittle bigger then a SnoScoot and much more rare.
I bought this off Ebay last spring for my 6 year old son. It didn't run at the time, had a few broken peices and some missing ones too.
Here are some pics of how it looked the day we brought it home.

I did a total frame off retore on her... Every peice and part was removed cleaned, painted, fixed/repaired.
Here a few pics of it in a millon peices.

I had to make a new front bumper for it as you can't buy to many parts for these anymore...nor can you find many. I also added some zerks to areas that need them and didn't have them. Just drilled a hole weld a nut on to the hole. install zerk.
Here is a few pics of were it's at today...of course the snow came a litte early this year and the boy has been on my a#* to ride it so we will gat back to it soon as he gets off of it. ^_^

I'll add a little vid clip and another pic or two later.
Riding with your kids is GREAT!

That's Awesome!!

If I ever have a kid I am teaching him/her to ride quads, sleds, street and dirt bikes, waterskiing all that fun stuff.....

Spoiled....You got that right. He is 6 and on his second sled. Sometimes I"m not sure if it's good or bad that he has know idea how good he's got it.
Hell I didn't have my first sled till I could buy it myself. Oh well it's all about the kids...beats him staying inside a playing video games all day.

To his credit though, he does like to be out in the shop "helping" work on his sled and four wheeler.

That's cool! I did the same kinda thing, buying a Honda CT70 in pieces through eBay and put it together with my son, then 10. Been working good. Fixed up a basket case Bravo and rode the snot out of it for a few seasons, sold it through this site and just got a Phazer II put together for him to ride this season. Good thing to do with your kids.
