98 powervalves

A friend of mine just called me, he's cleaning his powervalves and he wanted to know if the valve housing had to go in a certain way or if it even matters. I told him to put the side with the "tit" to the top, because this is what i was told. Now he tells me his housing don't have the same markings, nothing on either side. My question is, is he retarded or did the 98's have a different housing(without the mark on the top)????

not sure if your friend is retarded lol but the 98's don't have the mark or any dowel pins. they can go either way just make sure the valve is in right side up.
