I was around Negaunee on Saturday. Cold is an understatement. Conditions were great. Nice pics, thanks for sharing.

Trails were excellent today from Houghton to Twin Lakes. On the way back we went through the Freida loop and it looked like we were the only ones on it today. It was flat with about six inches of powder. Some deep snow around here. Calumet had received a foot last night.

ya i did 200 miles saturday from marquette through Michagamme and then to L'anse, and to big bay and then back to to marquette. It was real cold. The bay in l'anse looked like it had steam coming off from it. We hardly saw any sleds the whole day i would say maybe 10 it was really dead out. It was extremly nice i maybe hit 5 bumps the whole day it was that nice.

I have heard about the hotdog stand, but don't know where that is. I do however recognize Red'z Wolf Inn (log cabin). I lived about 4 miles from there a few years ago. Still go in there every once in a while, if anybody is in there area, Red is quite the host!!

The hot dog stand is on trail #443 12 miles north of Seney and 18 miles south of Grand Maris, just north of trail #431. There is some great "off trail" riding right accross the trail from the hot dog stand too. Red'z is a great place to stop for lunch, although gas prices accross the street are a little on the high side but, I'd rather pay a high price than run out on the trail in the cold temps. -Ed
