Seems you can't quite get these kits to install in the optimal location, so the two choices which do you guys think is better?
Position #1 or Position #2 (two pics of each provided).

position 1 may be your only choice, that is if that one even works, i got my marginal wheel kit put back even further than position 1 and they still rub the w-arm, position 2 you would bump the wheels really hard on the w-arm. i have lost 2 wheels from hitting the w-arm. just make sure you travel the suspension through fully to make sure they dont hit the wheels.
May sounds like a dumb question, but how do I compress it fully? I'm not that big a guy, lol.
Position 1 is where I run mine. The most hyfax wear is right under position 1

just put a crate, or block or something under the front shock and the shock will pretty much bottom on its own, if not get a buddy to sit on it or push on it while you watch the wheel
Jack up the sled hi enough to place a 4"x4"x16" just under the wheels @ position #1 and let the sled down...it will compress the front of the skid...if its on your trailer you can use a ratchet tie down to draw the rear of the sled down as if there was a rider on it...you will be able to see if they bind up with "W" arm...thats how I set my front limiter straps...cheersYamerDown said:May sounds like a dumb question, but how do I compress it fully? Worked perfect. Thanks for the advice. Clearance at that location was about 1/8", so that is where I installed them.redsnake3 said:just put a crate, or block or something under the front shock and the shock will pretty much bottom on its own, if not get a buddy to sit on it or push on it while you watch the wheel
