Ok I'm changing the gearing on my Viper from the stock 22/38 to 23/38. To do this I was told I'd also have to change my chain from the stock 68L to the 70L. I even asked, just to double check, if there was anyway it would fit the 68L chain.
Long story short, the first picture below is the 23/38 with 68L chain. The second picture is te 23/38 with the 70L chain. In each picture the chain is finger tight. Keeping in mind the fewer and shallower the bends are the more effiecient it will be. Which chain should I use and why does the 68L fit?????

FYI - triple checked the tooth count on all gears and both chains.
Nothing ever goes easy for me, lol...

clearly the picture on the left, the one with the chain bent around backwards would be a power eater for sure.
