Does anyone know if the SXR 600 and 700 bottom ends are the same??

Yes they are the same. Only difference was the pistons, rings and jugs to get the various CC's. To Verify this, use the "TYHome" link at the top of the page and then go to the bottom left of the Home page that has the parts catalog link. Click on it and compare the part number lists for the 600 and 700 bottom ends. You will find that they are exactly the same.

Yes they are the same. I put a 95 Vmax 600 crank in my 87 Exciter and they are the same also.
