Will ski's from an '02 Viper fit on an SXR without much if any modification?
If they fit, do you have to do the shim mod between the spindle and saddle?

Hey Mills - They will fit but it will lower the front of your sled. The spindle on a viper is longer than the SXR - you can see the difference in the height of the spindle bolt in the mount on the ski too.
i had a set of viper skis on my sxr500. dropped the front end 1/2". i just sucked up the limiters that 1/2" and it worked great.
Exactly what they said. I put C&A pros on the Viper and the Viper skis on my wife's SXR 500. It sits a little lower, but she hasn't complained yet.
I put Viper skis on my 97 sx work great also used 1/2 inch ski savers from Bergstrom along with ski shims. Handles great on the trails. No darting at all.

I put a set of Viper skis on my wife's 600 SXR so we have the same wear rods (I run Woddy's 6" duellys). Haven't had an issue and no darting.
