I have an 04 Viper that my buddy put regular oil on top of synthetic. It siezed the rod. Can i buy a rebuilt crank or send mine to someone other than Yamaha? Did the Oil mixing do this?

I know jeff @ midwest crank in green bay, wisconsin is very, very good. he does warranty work for yamaha and lots of others. he did 2 banshee cranks for me and both are still working strong. I'll be dropping off a '02 viper crank by him either this week or next week. this viper's center rod bearing went by by. I wouldn't think twice about sending anything to him. He has all the bearings in stock and does the work for cheap.
