noob question here: how do you read the "full" mark on gear oil? Is there a "sight glass" or something to know when to stop adding gear oil? How much should be in there?

There is a small 10mm head bolt on the side of the chaincase. Remove it and fill until fluid runs out of the bolt hole.

No, It is one the right side under the brake disc, maybe 3" up from the bottom slightly off center towards the front of the case.
Edit: Also I used ATF fluid and noticed a dramatic difference in ease of movement when the sled is cold as it is much thinner in viscosity than gear lube.
