rpm

no its not! its suppose to run at 9200 rpm's. I like running 9300 on the tach. that's what the hauck (aaen & cpr) pipes are suppose to run at (9100-9200).

Yeah, that's where you're supposed to be 9000-9200 with Haucks! I HATE when people answer a question of yours and they have NO IDEA what the answer is.
Such as your question, is 9200 too high for HAUCK pipes....then you get an answer of "no that's way too high" from a person running SLP pipes on the same sled. Just cuz his doesn't rev that high...yours shouldn't?? It's just been happening a lot lately and REALLY starting to bother me.

Sorry about the advice, I based it on local engine rebuilders that said over 9,100 reduced reliability and your statement that your were turning 9,100 to 9,300 RPM. JohnnyQuest is right, I had no idea Hauck recommended that their pipes be ran at 9,100 to 9,300 like you said you sled was turning.

PS: JohnnyQuest, I said "no, too high" not "no, way to high. I hate when people miss quote and exaggerated to try and make a point. I simply tried to express my opinion, thinking it would stimulate more discussion, I had no idea I was setting myself up for a personal attack.
