I havent had my SRX 700 on the trails yet up in Island Pond, VT. but i will always be riding with a group. and I rode a 01 VMax 700 with mirrors and i noticed EVERYEONE had mirrors. what should i get? i see they have handle bar mirrors also? whats your opinion?

I have a single mirror mounted on my left hand guard. I like having it, lets me keep an eye on those following me so I do not get to far ahead. I slow down when I can not see their headlight, or to pull over to let a faster group/rider past. I also see a lot of sleds with mirrors, but notice most people do not use them, or get lazy and do not turn around to acknowledge you (as in, not with their group) showing up behind them. I do not mind slowing down when I come up on another group and waiting to get around, but for the safety of all, even with mirrors, turn your head around once in awhile. By the way my Dad, step mom and wife all use a wrist mirror.

If you don't want to mount mirrors you can get a wrist mirror.

I mounted mirrors to my handguards ...

I tried the handbar mirrors that hook on the end of the handbars with velcro ... I thought they were crap.

The OEM mirrors that mount on the hood are nice, work great ... but look (imo) a little tacky.
