1998 SRX600 Belt type

I have a 1998 SRX600, just burnt the belt tonight and need a new one, anyone know the difference in belts? I have lots of spares from my 1997 SX600 and a 1997 SX700 also i have a spare for my 2006 Venture 500, Will these belts fit?

the 89l beldt is slightly shorter you can adjust it to make it fit it's a softer beldt so it will wear faster but you can make it work.

just bought a new 8dn belt and it felt to tight on the sled, she would not engage until around 5200 rpm and would rev over 9200 rpm, put a used 89l on and she is back to perfect again, Will the 8DN belt work? or do i need to adjust the belt deflection?

That sled calls for a 8DN belt, sounds like your belt deflection is off.

how far is it setting down in the secondary??
