i vaguely remember a post about using atf in you're chaincase is this true? if not what is the viscosity of the the proper lube. short of going tp the yammi dealer and buying a little bottle of the stuff.

Standard ATF fluid sold at any store will do. Buy the cheap stuff IMO

80\90 gear lube is what they come with.Pretty thick id say.

Amsoil Synthetic in mine i think its 80/90 cant remeber same spec as the stock stuff

I use 15/40 synthetic motor oil in mine, seems to work fine.

I'm using the Klotz Synthetic Chain Case Lube with graphite in it and plan to use it in everything from now on.

I have been useing dex 2 atf for years in several sleds with no problems most of them were high milers chains were replaced at 4500 to 5500 miles fliud yearly i mostly run in the far north in -20 to -40 temps.

used the atf had a leak around the drive shaft. glad i did it because it probably was leaking anyway and i could not see it, gotta love the red color.

i run atf in mine, no problems yet, did run 80/90 quaker state for awhile until i switched
