it idles perfect, punch the throttle and it'll start to rev and within 100 feet it acts like you are turning the key off and on. i've tried different coils and same thing. doesn't matter what throttle position your at, it'll keep doing that from about 3000 to 8000 rpm's. would there be a wire grounding out or is it a stator problem? thanks

wiring failiure
think you got a wiring failiure, somewhere..
if you can rev trough upp n down trough the whole range when on stand, with the belt hocked off...then you start moving forward with belt applied..its fail-!??--then you got a intemitent wiring failiure..!-maybee behind the magneto-wiring or coil intermitent failiure!.
