Is it possiable for a spark plug boot to be part off and cause a increase in spark to cause the pistin to be burned off the exhaust side? I have run my Viper for 3years with this set up and it went down Friday around noon (damm I even took a vacaation day to ride) I will get pictures up this afternoon.
I was told along time ago if a car was floooded you could pull the coil wire off just a little to increase spark?

yes lifting a plug boot will increase the spake at the plug(works great on a flooded engine)but would not cause a piston to melt.you either have a air leak or a frozen or dirty carb.

how does that work. but pulling the cap out a little you are losong you're good connection causing more resistance making it harder to deliver the spark.

If you have a cylinder that is not working because of a fouled plug and you lift the plug boot part way off the plug, often the cylinder will start to fire.
The electricity required to fire a plug is normally much lower than the amount available. When you create an air gap from the wire to the plug, the voltage has to rise to a higher level before the spark can jump that gap. There might be 30,000 or 40,000 volts delivered to the spark plug instead of 10,000.
