Follow up Mid range power/fuel mileage

I would change the in-tank fuel filter and clean the tank out. Not sure if this is possible but maybe a really old filter could start to deteriorate and send pieces up the fuel line. If I remember, mine has a paper element fuel filter. When I first got my 95 a couple years ago, I shined a flashlight down the gas tank and could not believe how much sand was in there! I ended up pulling the tank and cleaning the crap out of it.

That is my next step. Drain tank and clean, change filter and clean out fuel pump. Could anyone tell me what sea foam is and what does it do? Thanks for all the help.

s/f is a cleaner, you can put in gas, oil, it's also a fuel stabilizer, look at your
local auto parts store, comes in a small can it's a liquid like water.

Crank Seal Test

How would I go about checking the seal's?
Take some carb cleaner and spray it down between the clutch and engine block while the motor is running Idling to see it the tune of the engine changes. If it does you may have a bad seal, I dont know how to tell if the mag side is bad.... But "if" you have a bad pto seal then when the motor comes apart it would be wise to replace the mag side too. Thats my fun job for tomorrow on my dads sled. T

no problem T :)

bandit is right...

on the Mag side aim the stream of CC at the timing hole
on the case in at the flywheel.

Thanks guy's. I will do that this weekend after I do the tank and filter. Do you know if they make a diaphram kit for my fuel pump or do I have to just clean mine?

dealer,, or someone may jump in that know's for sure..

Ya I checked my parts books and I can't find anything for my fuel pump. I call my dealer tomorrow? Thanks
