OK guys I posted a couple times about my 02 SRX from the gates of hell! First I melted a piston, rebuilt it, cleaned the carbs took it up north 10 minutes into the ride the temp light started flashing loaded up and came home! So this time I removed the seat and bleed the system and got all the air out, go back up north ride about 30 miles stopped for a break started up again and got about 1 mile down the trail and the temp light started flashing again, It flashes 6 times stops and repeats, the fault code table for me is hard to read but it look like #1 Overheat but the sled is now circulating coolant so I shut off the sled for a couple minutes and we tried the burp the sled by picking up the front end and the coolant level stayed the same so we started riding again and the light stayed off for a couple hours went to eat for 45 min or so and got back on the sled for a mile and same thing flashing light 6 short flashes and repeats checked coolant everything is the same circulating coolant, heat exchangers are nice and warm get back on and light goes off in a couple minutes, rode for a couple more hours and the light started flashing again same as before, Now I wasn't riding hard all day because I wanted to break the new piston and rings in, My friend who has the exact same sled took mine for a ride and said it was just a strong as his! So after the light coming on 3 times that day, I decided to start riding it hard like I did before it blew up and the light never came back on, So if I baby it the light comes on, If the hammer on it it doesn't why ? We rode about 150 miles that day and the light came on three times always the same code 6 short flashes and repeats! Stuff like this drives me crazy because I know something is wrong and I can't find the problem and if I leave it something will happen again and I just can't keep throwing money at this sled thats why I got out of boating! What should I do next ? There isn't enough snow in the city to take to the dealer and have them ride it for 30 minutes to an hour to make the light come on, and I would hate to have them just put new random parts on at my expense just to gamble on it being fixed and drive up north again and have the same issues again.
Please help thanks

A code 6 on a 2002 is discontinuity or shorting of the knock sensor detected.
that would be your DSC sensor is malfunctioning(on the coolant rail)
it's not over heating........

Remove the knock sensor and do this check.

OK I bought a digital volt-ohm-amps meter today, never used one before the ohm settings on the meter are 20k 200k 2000k, I set it to 2000K and it says 570 within 504 and 616 so the DCS sensor is good or did I do something wrong ? If the sensor is good want should be my next plan of attack ?
the temp light flashes 6 times and repeats over and over again
