i am having some engagement issues with my srx....its a 98 700....when i go to take off from an idle the clutch kinda engages then moves for a couple feet then disengages then reengages...it does this a couple time until the rpms come up...it has the www primary 8bu's with 4.5 gram tip silver sec with 47-41 helix at 70 wrap.....i have checked the following...belt deflection and set...primary bushings, wieghts and rollers, secondary bushings and new slider shoes and both springs....engages at 4100 rpms then kinda like it shifts at 4500 rpms then goes great from there....any ideas to why it does this??? is the clutching components too aggressive?? or ???

I know this sounds simple, but Have you taken it apart the primary and cleaned every
little part? Installed new belt? If so, check for worn parts in the primary clutch one more time. I have had a bad belt and worn rollers cause some what the same thing to happen to me.

primarys been cleaned...rollers wieghts everything checks out ok....new belt...could it be a weak primary or sec spring???

offset checked motor mounts seem good no engine flex at all....belts broke in good....dunno what else to check
