I need to add risers to my SXR700 so I can stand easier. To make it like my other sled i need about 4 inches or rise. Will the control cables fit if I go thru the airbox? How about the other cables/hoses? Does anyone have a used riser for sale? robert.m.reed@lmco.com

I think a 4" might be pushing it with stock length cables!

I put a 3 inch 35 degree riser on my 2000 SX and thought it was fine....last weekend I was on the trail and discovered my throttle cable was pulled and bogging oil...couldn't get my sled over 70 mph...fixed it this week...riser is great and makes riding much more comfortable but you will need cable extension especially on 4inch

I put a 3 inch on a 2002 SXR 600 with no problems so far. 4 inch would not work without extensions.

This is a PowerMad articulating riser 2" + 4" with Renthal bars and these are 100% stock cables. It's been like this for 3 years now with no issues. The tightest one is the brake hose. The Renthal bars are flatter than stock so that makes a big difference. Doug
