im gonna atempt to pull a cracked 02 exhaust and wondered if someone could give me some advice, ive read about studs breaking off so im trying to avoid this,should i soak them in penetrating oil for a few days before attempting to break them free?

try them firs, just don't crank on them too hard - if they don't come with a reasonable amount of force soak them or heat them up with a torch to break them free.
