You can use what ever you want. I personally use amsoil and yamalube. I use the amsoil in the srx and the yamalube in my phazer.

what kind of amsoil? and do i just fill my oil tank with it like i would with yamalube? and where can i get it?

Interceptor. I think there might be a dealer on here. But If not check out the amsoil website and click the dealer locator. The type in your zip and it'll show you the nearest dealer to you. I had on like 15 mins from me. It worked out great. And just let the yamalube in the oil resevoir go down, then fill with new amsoil. Thats all I did. I used most fo the oil in the tank and just refilled.

Good quality syn oil can get you cleaner powervalves, less smoke and less wear on your engine. But never better performance that will be noticeable. Regardless, if you care for your sled I highly recommend it solely for the benefits mentioned.

Like the other men said you can use any kind of oil(well except marine)but
for a SRX try to stick with a good full synthetic like Amsoil,Klotz,etc...it'll
help keep your power valves cleaner, you'll still have to clean them tho
once twice a year depending on mileage but the extra detergents like say
in amsoil interceptor will help keep ya cleaner between pv maintainace..

i use Amsoil Interceptor in everything...

like this hasn't been gone over a billion times before. Do a search people.........

Oh come on SR it keeps your typing skill's fresh...LOL!!! ;)

I think I'm going to stick with the Legend ZX2R semi-syn.
Powervalve maint does also depend on the way you ride.
These mach. are lake runners not sight seeing trail riders.
