here's what is suppose to be in a 2000 srx stock:
23t top sprocket
8dn-20 weights
y-w-y primary spring
Red secondary spring @ 80 deg
47 deg helix
15.6mm rollers
here's what's in this 2000 srx that I'm currently working on:
22t top sprocket
8dn-10 weights
y-w-y primary spring
green secondary spring @ 80 deg
45 deg helix
15mm rollers
now what would the current setup do differently than the stock setup? I've never driven this sled to see, as it was blown up when it was dropped off for me to rebuild. I want to know if it makes a big enough difference to tell the guy that we need to purchase some clutching components to bring it back to stock. I did notice alot of black on the secondary clutch, indicating belt slip. There was a little bit on the primary too.
