Weight tunning with gram scale
Finally able to do long wot pulls on the weekend.
SXR700 Aaen piped, 50/40 with green spring 70 wrap. 8DN10 with 3.1 in heel tip empty and www spring. I turned my tach with 9000 straight up and now I can see I am still over reving at 9500 on long pulls. I am thinking on going to 60 wrap and using bolts instead of rivets. What will rpm decrease by going to the 60 wrap and should I load the weights differently.

going to 60 wrap will give the sled more topend, it will also lower the rpms some.
I would try a .8 gram alum. rivet in the tip hole along with going to 60 wrap and see how it pulls, as long as you can control the shift at 60 degrees the sled will be faster with less secondary wrap.
